SBA welcomes two new members

Swiss Bankers Prepaid Services AG and Abanca Corporacion Bancaria S.A. have joined the Swiss Bankers Association (SBA). The SBA welcomes the two financial service provid-ers to the Swiss financial centre’s leading industry organisation.

Two new members – Swiss Bankers Prepaid Services AG and Abanca Corporacion Bancaria S.A. – have joined the Swiss Bankers Association. The SBA’s Board of Directors approved their applica-tions in April. “We are delighted to welcome two more institutions to our ranks. They will further strengthen our expertise as we work to secure the future of the financial centre”, said Jörg Gasser, CEO of the SBA.

Swiss Bankers Prepaid Services AG

Swiss Bankers is an internationally oriented financial service provider with locations in the cantons of Bern and Zurich, as well as in Vaduz, Liechtenstein. The company leads the way in the develop-ment, distribution and processing of innovative, deposit-based payment products and offers solu-tions for secure cashless payment transactions worldwide. Swiss Bankers enables payments using all mobile payment services, and is one of the first providers to offer a card-based and account-independent peer-to-peer money transfer service from Switzerland to numerous countries. Abanca Corporacion Bancaria S.A.

 The Geneva-based bank created in 2005 is a branch of the internationally active Spanish firm Abanca Corporacion Bancaria SA. A representative office of the bank is also located in Zurich. In Switzerland, the bank is active in savings services and financing, mostly in mortgage loans for private clients.
