Climate Adaptation: From Risk to Impact 

Organised by the Swiss Bankers Association (SBA), the Asset Management Association Switzerland (AMAS), and the Fondation Genève Place Financière (FGPF), on the 6th of October from 14:00-15:30 in Room C, this session explores how the financial sector can move from recognising climate adaptation risks to financing impactful adaptation solutions. The discussion will bring together leading experts from finance, policy, and international organisations – such as Christian Leitz (UBS), Damien Contamin (BCGE), and Gerardo Zamora (World Health Organization) – to examine investment opportunities, enabling frameworks, and innovative approaches that can help build resilience while mobilising private capital towards climate adaptation.
